We have a total of 13 rooms. We are the perfect venue to get a large group of friends, family or colleagues together. We have hosted birthday groups, hen groups and large work trips. We have been privileged to welcome guests from almost every corner of the globe! From April to the end of September at weekends we cater for outdoor party packages in the rear courtyard with a marquee set up for a small party and hot tub hideaway. This is only available with the rear 7 rooms and for a max of 18 guests on a private hire basis please email for more information. Breakfast is a more casual affair out here with fresh berries, Greek yoghurt, granola, cereal, freshly made croissants and hot bacon and sausage baps, tea coffee and juice.

Our dining room in the front building caters for business as usual for the 6 bedrooms in the front building.  Both areas are separate for peace and privacy.

Moira has so much to offer groups.

The Still house and Pretty Marys offer Live music but you do need to check for availability, or let us help! Both have private party and private dining rooms for groups, weddings, parties etc.

For something special and exclusive why not try the private dining experience in renowned Wine and Brine, one of Northern Ireland’s premier food destinations.

We play host to guests attending many of the local wedding venues such as Brookhall, Gracehall, Riverside Barn, Hilden Brewery, Brownlow House, Larchfield Estate and Montalto Estate.  

There is a wonderful park called The Moira Demense, great for a walk or a picnic. Cars are welcome, there is a train stop 20 minutes walk away and a bus stop only a minute from Ralph’s.

The 18th-century walled courtyard at the rear of Ralph’s has been transformed into a private event space for guests to celebrate relax and enjoy the company of friends and family.

We have fantastic food options in the village, Pizza, Chinese, Indian and fish and chip shop all within a very short distance.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can we check-in?

Groups can arrive from 2 pm, we need to be informed of the time of arrival in advance.

When can we decorate the marquee?

Yes, you decorate from 12:30 on the day of your event. Any earlier than this will not be possible as we have group events 7 days per week. Strictly no profanities. No balloons with sprinkles.  

We can offer a balloon arch like the images we have used above for a cost of just £45 when we split it over 2 events. Please contact us if interested.

Are we in complete private?

No guests in the front B&B will have access to and cannot see the back property and courtyard where your event takes place, it is completely private. Our site supervisor will be on hand to support you throughout the evening and do checks.

Can we prepare or reheat food?

Sorry, but we have no guest kitchen in this part of the property and the front guesthouse is out of bounds for group events.

Do you provide logs for the fire pit?

We leave groups one sack of logs for the fire pit additional bags can be purchased at £7 per bag. Guests are also welcome to bring their own logs.

Do you have parking?

We have no car park. Guests can park on the street or in the public car park up beside the library. Street parking is free but restricted to an hour from 8am to 6pm, so free from 5pm to 9am.

Do you have a caterer?

Due to set up logistics we have a preferred caterer, Alex Berry, from Simply Irresistible 07793415666

Can we arrive on a bus?

We have a very strict no bus rule. We are in a town centre congested area. There is nowhere for a bus to leave guests. Cars are welcome and there is a train stop just 5-20 min on foot.

Can I use the hot tub in the morning?

Yes but you must advise staff. It closes 10 pm.
